In all cases, Federal laws require the dish to be
mounted 5’ minimum off the ground. This is to prevent anyone, especially
children, from getting their head between the dish and the satellite.
Your WildBlue dish transmits powerful radio energy beamed
at the satellite and it could be harmful. So they error on the side of
caution and make it very unlikely someone could expose themselves when
mounted 5’ + off the ground. Kind of like the warning on a cup of coffee
- “Caution- hot liquid inside”.
Remember, we need to remain within 100' of your computer area from the
dish location. |
