Non Penetrating Roof Mount |

What does not show well in the picture is the UV
stable rubber mat that protects the
roof. A metal frame work supports eight concrete blocks which hold the
dish securely in place. This is a commercial quality product with tens
of thousands of them deployed on roof tops all over the country. The
mount is heavy but it puts a load on
your roof that is far less than the load your roof is designed to bear.
This option puts less weight on your roof than an air conditioning unit,
for example. The high winds we get in Arizona have no effect on these
mounts - they are safe for commercial use on bigger dishes - they are a
bit over engineered for the Basic dish. Because of the winds we get, we
will not use the most basic non penetrating mount. It is smaller with
only six blocks holding it in place with no protective mat for the roof
surface. This goes back to Liberty Satellite & Networks core philosophy,
that “good enough” isn’t. You don’t want the head ache & I don’t want to
meet your lawyer. |
