Note the support that attaches to the roof has 3 points of attachment compared to the one point of attachment for the TV dish. Also note the larger ‘foot print’ of the mount. We need enough room to spread the legs apart to create a sturdy support for the dish. The WildBlue dish
must be aimed much more accurately and must retain that close tolerance alignment. That is the reason for the 3 point mounting - precision alignment.
The dish is an exaggerated oval that is about 23” by 39”.
