How do I configure Internet Explorer 6.x for Windows?

The following information explains how to configure Internet Explorer 6.x. for Windows

1. Launch Internet Explorer
2. Select Tools from the top menu and select Internet Options from the drop-down menu to open the Internet Options window
3. On the Internet Options window click the Connections tab
4. On the Connections tab click on the  LAN Settings button to open the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window
5. On the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window:

   In the Automatic configuration area Select "Use automatic configuration script” and type in  http://wpad.wildblue.com/accelerated_pac_base.pac in the address box.

6. Click on the OK button to close the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window
7. From the Internet Options window click the Advanced tab
8. From the Advanced tab and scroll down to HTTP 1.1 settings heading and check both Use HTTP1.1 and Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections checkboxes
9. Click on the OK button to close the Internet Options window to complete the Internet Explorer Browser configuration
