Mobile/Modular Home Installations

When there is no overhang, as in this picture, we can mount on the
side of your structure and not penetrate the roof.

The construction materials and methods used in these kind of structures presents a unique challenge to the proper installation of the WildBlue system. The roof framing materials used are a smaller dimension than that used for site built construction. The large bolts that we are required to use to attach the mount causes the roof framing to split and not grab the threads of the bolt. And the mounting bolts are longer than the roof framing is thick - which again does not give us the gripping strength we need for the long term installation. Yes, there used to be guys who would install these systems on the roof of mobile/modular homes but they are pretty much all in a different line of work now. Mounting to the roof of mobile/modular homes is not an approved mounting option. We quite often can mount to the corner wall of your home. When it comes to mobile/modular home or offices - it is best to talk to us about your particular location/situation so we can zoom in on your specific needs. There is a way to get you the WildBlue connection you want - we just need to talk about it.
