How do I configure the Netscape browser for Windows?

The following information explains how to configure the Netscape browser for Windows.
Step by Step
  1. Launch Netscape Navigator
  2. Enter about:config in the URL filed in Netscape
  3. Scroll down to the “network” parameters
  4. If “network.http.pipelining” is set to “false” double-click on this value
  5. Enter true and click “OK”
  6. If “network.http.proxy.pipelining” is set to “false” double-click on this value
  7. Enter true and click “OK”
  8. Select Edit from the top menu and choose Preferences.
  9. Select Navigator from the menu and set the location for your home page to http://www.wildblue.net
  10. Next Select Advanced on the side menu tab and then Proxies.
  11. Select Automatic proxy configuration URL and enter http://wpad.wildblue.com/accelerated_pac_base.pac
  12. Select the HTTP Networking menu tab.
  13. Select the Use HTTP 1.1, Enable keep-alive and Enable Pipelining for both Direct Connection Options and Proxy Connection Options.
  14. Click Ok to complete the setup.
